IHC After Dark: Empty your brain and love that Bob
Watch this or don’t watch this, I don’t care, I mean it’s not like your life depends on it, which it does.
IHC After Dark: The Story of the Hare Who Lost His Spectacles
From the ‘73 Jethro Tull concept album A Passion Play. Brilliant in its utter departure from whatever the fuck is normal.
Morning music videos: Mustard Pimp “ZMH”
It’s French, it’s electronica, it’s done in the style of a cheesy 70s porno and it’s got puppets doing very rude things to hot dogs and each other. Voila.
Barack Obama gets the bad lip reading treatment
If you like Rick Perry’s bad lip reading, you’ll love Obama’s bad lip reading. It doesn’t matter whether you’re drunk or flipped out, the broccoli we gathered was good.

IHC After Dark: Terrence McKenna on memes
Meme is a word that everyone knows these days, or at least has heard before, though this is a very recent phenomenon. Just six years ago, I did a project on memes for a psychology class in college and not a single person had any clue what I was talking about, let alone have even heard the word before. But the concept of a “meme” goes far beyond just things like Keyboard Cat and Bachelor Frog. In just a few years, the internet has taken the word for its own. Here’s Terrence McKenna describing memes as they were first defined.
Afternoon music videos: “Work It” by Ylvis
This song isn’t quite what you think it might be at first. It’s sex education, Norwegian style— a snazzy dance track all about the parts of the reproductive system.

POP-UP VIDEO RETURNS!
Yes, this is Britney Spears. But it also heralds the glorious return of Pop-Up Video on VH1
I apologize for some of the shitty pop videos I’ve posted on IHC, and this is one of them. But considering it’s the first Pop-Up Video video in years, it may be the only good excuse for watching a Britney Spears video in its entirety. Pop-Up Video returns October 3rd.
IHC After Dark: Richard Metzger interviews Genesis P-Orridge & Robert Anton Wilson
Looks like I picked the wrong day to stop smoking DMT.
How photographer’s rights have been eroded since 9/11
Here’s a startling video on how 9/11 turned using a camera in public into a “suspicious activity”:
After 9/11, the government began encouraging local police, private security and everyday Americans to report so-called “suspicious activity” that may indicate a security threat. Taking photos of landmarks, walking “nervously” and writing in a notebook are all activities that have led to people being stopped and questioned.
