Day off for President’s Day! Time to pay your respects, starting with Washington.
A true classic. Respect, Washington, respect.
Back to the Start
The film, by film-maker Johnny Kelly, depicts the life of a farmer as he slowly turns his family farm into an industrial animal factory before seeing the errors of his ways and opting for a more sustainable future. Both the film and the soundtrack were commissioned by Chipotle to emphasize the importance of developing a sustainable food system.

This makes me happy. I know it’s a TV commercial for a fast food chain that I don’t even like, but this was on TV. It got people talking and thinking. Years ago this never would have seen the light of day, and now millions of people saw this. You can tell me the world is doomed and that we’re terrible and all that jazz, but there is just as much good in this world and it is slowly overturning the bad. People want to be happy, to do the right thing, and as we shift towards a society that takes responsibility for the specifics of how we get our food, clothes, etc. the happier mankind will become. A deep, true happiness.
So fuck your negativity bitches.
