Where Are They (Not Really) Now of the Day: The Soup checks in with 90’s hip hop icon Vanilla Ice, who recently moved to Echo Park and reinvented himself as an indie rock artist.

I just need to say I LOVE ICE UNIRONICALLY and have since the 90’s. Not when he was like popular and stuff, but when he released his drug album MIND BLOWIN in ‘94, well I got that, the hardcore album in ‘98, and his tracks with Bloodhound Gang (another white fav, though pre-Hooray For Boobies) and ICP (yet another white rap fav).

Yes, I love white rap. Always and forever.
